Getting set up
How do I turn on Wave Keyboard?
Open Settings → General → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard → WAVE, then tap WAVE again and switch on Allow Full Access. The app walks you through it with a live simulation the first time you open it.
Why does Wave need Full Access?
Full Access powers the AI tools, clipboard shortcuts and key sounds. Typing stays on your device; see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is and isn't collected.

What can the AI sidekick do?
- Grammar & Spell Check — fixes your text in place.
- Translate — 20+ languages, from English to 汉语.
- Change tone — 12 tones, from Formal to Flirty.
- Ask AI — write replies, shorten, add emojis, or just ask.
Tap the glowing orb next to the quick-menu button on the keyboard.

Grammar, Translate and Tone transform the text in your input field — type something first, then run the tool. Ask AI works without text.
Themes, fonts & effects
How do I change my keyboard theme?
Themes tab → pick anything → DOWNLOAD / APPLY THEME. Try before applying with TRY IT FIRST. Everything you've applied or downloaded lives in My Keyboards.
What are WAVE LIVE themes?
Themes drawn entirely in code — no downloads, featherweight memory, and they never stop moving. All six are free; Aurora Drift is your keyboard out of the box.
How do I unlock locked themes, fonts or effects?
Two ways: go Wave PRO and unlock everything, or watch a short rewarded video to unlock that one item. If no video is available, try again a little later.
Subscription
How do I manage or cancel Wave PRO?
Wave PRO renews through your Apple ID. To cancel: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Wave Keyboard, at least 24 hours before renewal. See the Terms for details.
